Not a particularly sharp image but it may be the only photo ever taken of Hudson A16-116 in MMA ownership. Beyond Anson VH-AYP and Lockheed 10A VH-ABV can be seen the stripped airframe of a Hudson. This aircraft can only be A16-116 which was purchased by MMA in April 1947 as a source of parts, principally Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines for MMA's DC-3 fleet. The aircraft is probably awaiting its fate at the hands of a scrapper.Photo: MMA
